JULY PRAYER LETTER

IGLESIA BAUTISTA EL REFUGIO IN BELLO

These last couple of weeks have been filled with a ton of work. Thanks to God we were able to secure a place to start services soon in the city of Bello. Every day we are working hard to get the place ready for preaching. We anticipate that it would take us a few weeks to get the place ready in order to host services. We are in the midst of installing a new roof, knocking down some walls, fixing many different holes in different areas, and painting everything. We have several outreach plans ready to be implemented as soon as the building is done. We can’t wait to see what God will do with the second church plant. We also thank God for the number of people that have helped us during this second church plant. When we started the first church, it was only my wife and me, and even then God provided the strength to get it all done. Today we have a team of people that God has provided to get this second church plant started. Both the Young Family and Chestley Howell, who are missionaries in Colombia, Juan Garcia, a student intern from our home church, and the many other brethren from our first church plant (Iglesia Bautista Vision Caldas) have been a huge blessing to us as we get everything ready to start this second church. The name of the second church is Iglesia Bautista El Refugio (Refuge Baptist Church). Please, we ask your prayers for all the work that is being done now, that we would very soon finish getting the place ready to start, and also for the different outreach plans that we will be executing.

IGLESIA BAUTISTA VISION IN CALDAS

God is continuing to work in the church at Caldas. Last Sunday morning we had an attendance of more than 60 people! Praise the Lord! Sunday night services are also growing in number as we also registered 45 in the last service. We thank God for all that He is doing in Caldas. We also had VBS with many first-time comers. Both kids and
parents heard the Gospel. We thank God for all that He has done in Caldas. Please continue to pray for the ministries in this church. People are getting saved, baptized, and discipled.
Leaders are also being trained in order to start more churches in the future. God is so good to us. He is showing Himself strong in all that is going on here in Medellin, Colombia. Thank you for praying for us!
