DECEMBER 2024 – PRAYER LETTER

YOUTH RETREAT

We finally hosted our first youth retreat!
• 13 teens came!
• We had a great time of growth in the Lord.
• Lots of fun too!
• Teens here where we are in Colombia are often living a vain life in the things of the world. This retreat helped them to commit to a life serving God.

YARD SALE TO RAISE FUNDS FOR BUILDING A TEMPLE:

During the month of December, the church had two yard sales:
• These yard sales are for the purpose of raising funds for the purchase of land to build.
• They are very thankful for the help that you all have sent.
• They are also trying to do all they can to raise funds to purchase this land and build soon thereafter.
• Thank you so much for the help that you all have sent both in prayers and financially. We are running out of room where we are and very desperately need a bigger space.

WHITE ELEPHANT, BUÑUELOS, AND NATILLA

• December in Colombia is full of:
• Buñuelos:
• We make these very delicious cheese balls every Christmas season.
• Natilla:
• A type of flan with dulce de leche that complements the Buñuelos.
• Fireworks and fellowships are a must during December. Many visitors came as a result of these events.

THE WORK AT BELLO IS GROWING:

• Brother Chestley and Sister Yessica continue to do a great job at the church plant in Bello.
  • We recently had Sister Rao come and help at this church plant with outreach.
  • More people are being discipled and continue to grow with their yearly Bible reading plans.
  • Please also help us to pray for this work, there are many people in this area of 600,000 people that need the Lord.
