JULY 2024 PRAYER LETTER

INDEPENDENCE MONTH!

• Iglesia Bautista Vision in Caldas:

  • July was a month in which we had several independence celebrations:
         • As a team of missionaries we celebrated July 4th at our home with the Howell family.
         • Here in Colombia we also celebrated the country’s Independence Day on July 20th.
                • We had a great turn out with many visitors and lots of fun.
                • We had BBQ and soccer all afternoon.
                • A young girl named Annie trusted in Christ as her Savior!
                       • We thank God for this. She came through our teen program.
                       • She is now living a life for God and growing in every service.
                • Another great praise is the fact that Anderson got saved also!
                       • Anderson is a young man who came to the church on a Friday morning.
                       • He came distressed after an attempt to take his own life.
                            • He came because he remembered we had been nice to him on the street.
                            • He came because he was looking for solution in a life destroyed by drugs.
                 • God is so good to show us His power in our lives and in the ministry.

• Iglesia Bautista El Refugio in Bello:

  • We have moved locations to a more centralized and more busy area of town.
  • We have had several new people come to our services and ask about who we are and what we teach.
         • Many here do not know what a baptist is or what they teach.
         • We are thankful to God for the opportunity and privilege to be His witness in this city.
  • For independence day here we had also a BBQ and had a turn out of around 40 people!

COLOMBIA CHURCH PLANTING LAND FUND: FOR IGLESIA BAUTISTA VISION IN CALDAS

We are currently working on the paperwork for the church land. We also ask for your prayers in helping us raise the remaining $60,000 needed to purchase this land for our church in Colombia. We are grateful to God for the generosity of those who have already contributed. Please consider praying about how you might assist us in obtaining the necessary funds for this important cause.
